There's nothing like painting a summer peach when it comes to capturing beautiful bright colors.  It's hard to resist those yummy yellows, oranges, and reds.  A bed of cool turquoise sets off the peaches in a most delightful way.

Peaches grown in Fredericksburg, Texas, are known for their juicy, sweet flavor. Before enjoying a peach or baking them into cobblers or freezing them, they often must pull double duty and pose for a painting or two. “Special Today” features Dixie Land peaches ~ aromatic, ripe, and very colorful.   This summer’s crop is bigger than usual … spilling out of a paper sack, they were on “special today.”
