"Good Company" highlights an old copper tea kettle that I unearthed in an antiques store that specialized in European antiques. I thought it looked squatty, but regal. Red plums seemed a logical pairing, as they didn't steal the show from the tea kettle. These items are sitting on a "Claude Mirror," also known as a "poor man's mirror." Years ago, these mirrors were made by painting a simple pane of glass black on the underside. The reflection is more muted than the typical silver-backed mirror.
