"Watermelon Wedge"was created using one of the new *personal size* watermelons in the produce section. These individual-sized watermelons are easier to work into a composition than the typical much larger watermelons. I teamed this sliced one up with an old wooden dough bowl, a linen napkin, a ceramic vase and a lone cherry.
I had to work quickly, as my hot photographer's lamp/spotlight on this set-up dried out the edible part of the watermelon very quickly.
